hey there, my name is grayce! iβm a tattoo artist, illustrator, painter and generally anxious. iβm super happy (and nervous) to have you here.
this lil space is called solitude studio because i think itβs been important for me to find balance between getting comfy in my solitude, and simultaneously knowing iβm not alone :)
my 20s have been quite lonely at times, but iβm actually grateful for the chance to find some peace in my own company - look, we all know being alone with our thoughts can be horrendous for real - and yet, in my solitude iβve been my most independent, heartbroken, content, reflective and creative self. at the end of the day, we are all alone, but we are alone beside each other. anyway hereβs some art :)
firstly, I am grateful to acknowledge that I get to work, create and operate a business on the unceded traditional territories of the xΚ·mΙΞΈkΚ·ΙyΜΙm (Musqueam), SαΈ΅wxΜ±wΓΊ7mesh (Squamish), and sΙlilwΙtaΙ¬ (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations.

There is limited street parking on surrounding blocks and behind the building. Main Street / Science World Skytrain Station is a block away, and several buses stop in front of the building.
