where and how i learned:
i attended the liverpool tattoo academy in october 2024, and completed both their foundations of tattooing, and intermediate level courses. i’m no stranger to the uk, but i had never been to liverpool, and barely had an idea of what formal tattooing education would look like (not really a thing in canada). it ended up being one of the best experiences of my life! i was taught by pros with decades of experience, as well those relatively new who had picked up the skills quickly after passing the course themselves. i left the academy feeling prepared, excited and confident to begin my career.

when i started
i began tattooing immediately following the completion of the program in autumn in 2024, and the following month found myself a private studio in downtown. it is on the first floor of the artopia building at 550 cambie street. this building is three floors of studios occupied by creatives of all sorts. my space is accessible, cozy, private and has three big windows (thank goodness cuz i have a plant army in the relatively small space)
